This patient from Vehari had severe sinus fungal infection that had caused complete loss of vision. He had an unsuccessful surgery at another hospital 3 weeks before and was referred to Jinnah Hospital, Lahore. Dr Syed Muzahir Hussain- ENT Specialist Lahore performed successful clearance of fungal disease, however, recovery of vision was only partial as the diseased had progressed to such an extent that it had compressed the optic nerve (nerve of sight) with irreversible damage.
