This patient suffered from extensive fungal rhinosinusitis (fungus in the sinuses and nose). He complained of headache and a feeling of heaviness. His vision started to deteriorate and he decided to get a CT scan from his locality, the local doctor advised that he get surgery. He consulted multiple hospitals all over Lahore looking for someone to perform the surgery but no one was willing. When he came to Dr Syed Muzahir Hussain- ENT Specialist Lahore, he was completely blind from one eye with only very little vision in the other. He was operated on an urgent basis by Dr Syed Muzahir Hussain. Within the next 24 hours, he completely recovered his vision. Dr Syed Muzahir Hussain performed the surgery in Jinnah Hospital, Lahore and the patient was not charged anything for the procedure. The patient was extremely appreciative of Dr Syed Muzahir Hussain’s efforts and showed great admiration for his skill, attitude and professionalism whilst performing this life altering procedure.
